The truth about therapy here:

It’s hard work to dig deep. There will be emotions that come up. You will need to examine yourself, your relationships, your boundaries, and take ownership of your part of dysfunction. We believe that therapy is a sacred process of growth and healing that happens in context of relationship; it’s a relationship that requires active participation on both ends. We work to provide psychoeducation, skill-building, and support - but it’s your job to be an agent of change in your own personal growth and transformation. We don’t believe that therapy has all of the answers. Though, therapy can be a space and a process that assists in exploring history, patterns, behaviors, emotions, relationships, values, and understanding in how to move forward in meaningful ways.
